Author Guidelines

General Notes
Manuscripts must present original research that advances knowledge. Papers should be written in clear English, using Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, with adequate margins. Tables and figures should be placed within the text. The manuscript, including text, tables, and figures, should not exceed 25 pages or 10 MB.

Manuscript Structure
Submissions must include the following sections in order: Title Page, Abstract & Keywords, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Declaration of Interests, References, and optionally Supplementary Material. No additional subheadings are permitted.

Title Page

  • Title: Informative, specific, concise; avoid jargon.
  • Authors: Full names; institutional affiliations with addresses.
  • Corresponding Author: Name, email, marked with (*), responsible for correspondence.
  • Keywords: 5–7 terms for indexing.
  • Abstract: Max 250 words; summarize objectives, methods, results, and conclusion without references or undefined abbreviations.

Main Text

  • Introduction: Provide context, background, motivation, and aims (2–3 paragraphs).
  • Materials & Methods: Describe materials, design, procedures, and data analysis clearly. Use subheadings as needed.
  • Results: Present data using tables and figures; avoid discussion. Include sample size, statistics, and key trends.
  • Discussion: Interpret results, justify findings, relate to objectives, and compare with literature. Highlight theoretical and practical implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize main findings and implications in 1–2 paragraphs.
  • Acknowledgements: Credit contributors not listed as authors and funding sources.
  • Declaration of Interests: Disclose conflicts of interest.

Figures and Tables

  • High-resolution figures and concise tables.
  • Avoid duplicating information.
  • Number, caption, and reference all figures and tables in text.

Supplementary Material

Unpublished or lengthy material (tables, figures, datasets) may be submitted online in viewable formats (Word, PDF, images).

Ethics and Authorship

  • Include all contributors who made significant contributions; exclude those without contributions.
  • Ensure originality, avoid plagiarism, and cite sources properly.
  • Submit copyright agreement, funding disclosure, and ethical approvals if applicable.

Citation and Reference Guidelines (APA 7th Edition)

  • In-Text Citation: Use author–date format. Include page numbers for direct quotes.
  • Paraphrasing: (Razvy, 1980)
  • Direct Quote: (Razvy, 1980, p. 45)
  • Multiple Authors: (Razvy & Khan, 2000) for two authors; (Razvy et al., 2005) for three or more authors.

Reference List

Alphabetically by author surname; double-space; use hanging indent. Include DOI or URL if available.

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
  • Title page with authors, affiliations, and correspondence email.
  • Abstract ≤ 250 words.
  • Tables and figures properly numbered, captioned, and referenced.
  • References formatted according to APA 7th edition.
  • High-resolution images and supplementary materials uploaded.
  • Signed copyright agreement, funding disclosure, conflict of interest, and ethical approval documents.
